Yes, public relations is ethical. Everyone deserves to have someone watching thier back. Big businesses especially need public relations consultants because there are always sneaky journalists trying to pull the rug out from under a corperation. One could almost call a public realtions consultant a security guard who protects businesses from scandals and the public.
